Through the years, over the course of hundreds of depositions and motions, my practice evolved to include nearly all types of civil lawsuits. I represent clients in both state court and federal court, and in diverse forms, ranging from business disputes, to product liability, to MCA loans, to patent & copyright infringement. Outside our office, I’m passionate about our local community, including 10 years serving as an attorney advisor for New York’s statewide high school mock trial tournament, as well as Commissioner of WNY’s 16-team Lawyers’ Softball League. I also oversee our Firm’s Summer Associate Program, where we hire between five to seven law students every year and train them to become full-fledged attorneys.

This is Migir Ilganayev, dictating a quick message about a lawsuit filed by Candy Capital Corp. against NP Pharmacy, LLC D/B/A Danang Pharmacy and Thinh Bao Nguyen. The case was filed in Kings County Supreme Court on January 13, 2026.
Candy Capital entered into a contract and NP Pharmacy, LLC D/B/A Danang Pharmacy sold its future receipts to Candy Capital with a total value of $64,285.00 (receivables) for the purchase price of $48,500.00. However, NP Pharmacy didn’t deliver the receivables and defaulted the contract. Because Thinh Bao Nguyen personally guaranteed this contract, Candy Capital is pursuing him individually as well. The total amount sought is over thirty five thousand nine hundred and fifty five dollars, including fees, interest since December 29, 2025, and attorney’s costs.
If no response or appearance is filed within the court’s deadlines, a default judgment could be entered, potentially leading to frozen accounts or seizure of assets. My firm has handled many cases involving sales-based financing disputes like this, sometimes we’re able to negotiate reduced amounts or challenge claims successfully.
