Who we are
This website, mca-defense-lawyer.com, is operated by Ilganayev Law Firm, PLLC, a New York professional limited liability company with its office at 139 Fulton Street, Suite 801, New York, NY 10038.
You can reach us at 646-396-8050 or ilganayevlaw@gmail.com. Our general practice website is ilganayevlaw.com.
This policy explains what information this website collects, why, who it is shared with, and what choices you have.
Using this site does not make you a client
Reading this site, contacting us, or scheduling a consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship. No such relationship exists until we have agreed in writing to represent you.
Information you send before we agree to represent you may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege. Please do not send confidential or sensitive details through this website. If your matter is urgent — an account has been restrained, or you have just been served — call 646-396-8050.
Information you give us
When you contact us or request a consultation, we collect:
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- The nature of your problem, including which situations apply to you and whether your matter is currently in court.
- A case, index, or docket number, if you choose to provide one.
- A description of your situation, if you choose to provide one.
- The date and time you request for a consultation.
The case number and the description are optional. You can request a consultation without providing either.
Information collected automatically
Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, records standard request information including IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is ordinary web-server operation.
Abuse prevention. We temporarily record request counts by IP address to prevent automated abuse. These records are short-lived and are not used to identify you.
Analytics and advertising measurement. We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics and advertising measurement tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta. These may set cookies and collect device, browser, and browsing-behaviour information.
Browser storage. So you can leave a partly completed enquiry and return to it, your answers are held temporarily in your browser’s session storage. This remains on your device, is not transmitted to us until you submit, and is erased when you close your browser tab. Your confirmation details are handled the same way and are deleted as soon as the confirmation page displays them.
What we do with it
We use the information you provide to:
- respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation;
- understand your situation before we speak;
- schedule, confirm, and remind you about your appointment;
- keep the records required of a law firm;
- operate and improve this website.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes information on our behalf
- HighLevel Inc. (GoHighLevel) — our client relationship and scheduling system. Enquiries and appointments are stored there, and appointment reminders are sent through it.
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and content delivery.
- Google LLC — Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the embedded map on our contact page.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — advertising measurement.
These providers process information on our instructions. Each has its own privacy practices.
We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or the rules of professional conduct governing New York attorneys.
Cookies and analytics
This site loads Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads analytics and advertising tags. Those tags may set cookies to recognise returning visitors and measure how the site is used.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so does not prevent you from using this site or contacting us. You can also install Google’s browser opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
The embedded map and the reviews display on this site load from Google and GoHighLevel respectively, and only when you interact with or scroll to them.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not lead to representation are generally retained for up to three years. Where we take a matter on, client files are retained for the period required by the New York rules governing attorney records.
Server logs and abuse-prevention records are kept only briefly, in line with our providers’ standard practice.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, including encrypted connections across the whole site and restricted access to our client relationship system. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This is another reason not to send sensitive details through this website.
Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct information that is wrong, or delete information we are not required to keep. Write to ilganayevlaw@gmail.com or call 646-396-8050. We may need to verify your identity first.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of personal information we are not required to retain, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights.
We do not sell personal information.
To make a request, contact us at ilganayevlaw@gmail.com or 646-396-8050.
